Home Care Packages Stories

Gerald and Francis have been using Vitality Club as Gerald’s Beverly Hills Home Care Package provider for over a year now. After having a fall in 2019, Gerald needed additional assistance to get back to total health. His wife of 42 years, Francis, was able to assist Gerald after the fall by contacting My Aged Care and arranging an  assessment that evaluated Gerald’s eligibility and needs. My Age Care identified that Gerald would likely need a Home Care Package, and they sent out the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT). Based on Gerald’s needs, he was allocated a level 3 Home Care Package which entitled him to approximately 10.5 hours of care per week. The Vitality Club team created a care plan tailored to Gerald’s needs and helped coordinate services which meant Francis could go about her day, knowing that Gerald had his needs met through social support, physiotherapy, and domestic assistance.
